Bring on the Sparkle
The shine of diamonds is aspiring to reach almost every household in India and all over the world. Indians all over the world are buying more of diamond jewellery this season, given the fact that prices of gold are still struggling to achieve stability. This Diwali comes as a huge respite to the diamond industry, manufacturers, workers, traders, exporters, retailers and marketing offices all have started making up for the business lost during the lockdown.

Surat Diamond Bourse is slated to open in 2021 and diamond gets a new address in India one which foretells better days for the whole industry and in turn the Indian economy as well. This is indeed a unique public-private-partnership where all stakeholders are working ceaselessly towards achieving one aim – that of making India the capital of the polished diamond all over the world.

Historically, India is known to produce the best diamonds in the world, however in recent times due to their flexible government policies and attractive exemptions: New York, Dubai, Antwerp, Hong Kong and many places have emerged as diamond hubs. Therefore India needs to rework its strategies and reclaim its title. The industry is booming and it is time to strike.

May the shine of diamonds reach every Indian home this Diwali and bring prosperity to all!
